American Society for Psychical Research (ASPR)

The ASPR is the oldest psychical research organization in the United States. It supports the scientific investigation of extraordinary or as yet unexplained phenomena that have been called psychic or paranormal. It also publishes the Journal of the American Society for Psychical Research (JASPR)

Australian Institute of Parapsychological Research (AIPR)

The Australian Institute of Parapsychological Research is a non-profit community association whose aims are to collect, assess and disseminate factual information about claims of paranormal phenomena; support and encourage parapsychology; and undertake or promote activities in support of the above.

Austrian Society for Parapsychology and Border Areas of Science

A non-profit interdisciplinary organization, founded in 1927, located at Vienna University, arranging ten public lectures per year plus symposia and other events and running a library.

Committee for Skeptical Inquiry

Formerly known as CSICOP, the CSI publishes the Skeptical Inquirer magazine, and states that it 'encourages the critical investigation of paranormal and fringe-science claims from a responsible, scientific point of view and disseminates factual information about the results of such inquiries to the scientific community and the public.'

Exceptional Human Experience Network (EHEN)

An educational, research, and information resource organization studying all types of anomalous (out of the ordinary) experiences. Offers a variety of information, and members also get a biannual Journal and newsletter.

 

Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS)

A non-profit, membership organisation that promotes research and education in consciousness and human potential, with an emphasis on healing.

Instituto de Psicologia Paranormal (IPP)

The Institute of Paranormal Psychology (IPP) is an educational center dedicated to the scientific study of parapsychology. It produces several publications dealing with ESP, PK and related phenomena, including the Revista Argentina de Psicologia Paranormal (Argentine Journal of Paranonnal Psychology). It also maintains a library of psychical research, an experimental laboratory and a clinic for people with paranormal/anomalous experiences.

Instituto Latinoamericano de Parapsicologia

The Latin American Institute of Parapsychology is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to education and scientific investigation in the field of the Parapsicology. It produces publications, organises events and advises on research projects.

International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies and Energy Medicine (ISSSEEM)

ISSSEEM is a non-profit, interdisciplinary organization for the study of the basic sciences and medical and therapeutic applications of subtle energies.It was organized for the purpose of improving human health and welfare through the advancement of education, practice, training, and research in the emerging field of subtle energies and energy medicine.

 

International Society of Life Information Science (ISLIS)

ISLIS aims to advance research in the fields of life information, promote international exchange and networking, and contribute to the progress of science and to human peace and welfare.

 

Intuition Network

The Intuition Network offers opportunities for networking among individuals who are interested in cultivating and applying intuition. This networking takes place via phone and fax, newsletters, journals and magazines, radio and television, small group gatherings, conferences in "cyberspace," conferences in hotels, and international travel and spiritual retreats.

 

James Randi Educational Foundation

A not-for-profit educational resource on the paranormal, pseudoscientific, and the supernatural.

Mind Science Foundation

A research institution and an educational organization, dedicated to the scientific study of the human mind, the foundation has aScientist/Scholar-in-Residence Program, sponsors research at the Foundation and in collaborating laboratories, offers educational programs including lectures and symposia, produces a quarterly newsletter, and has a major library.

Parapsychological Association (PA)

The PA aims to promote research, discussion and exploration of parapsychology. It sponsors yearly conferences featuring research papers and presentations from scientists around the world, and has a regular newsletter which features events in the field. Parapsychology Foundation

A not-for-profit foundation which provides a worldwide forum supporting the scientific investigation of psychic phenomena. The Foundation gives grants, hosts lectures, produces a variety of publications including the International Journal of Parapsychology, and maintains the Eileen J. Garrett Library with its collection of more than 10,000 volumes and 100 periodicals on parapsychology and related topics.

Scientific and Medical Network

A UK educational charitable trust which aims to deepen understanding in science,medicine and education by fostering both rational analysis and intuitive insights. It organises lectures and conferences, and offers a variety of services such as speakers for schools, a newsletter and local group events.

 

Scottish Society for Psychical Research (SSPR)

The objectives of the Society are to investigate all types of phenomena known as paranormal or parapsychological, and collect, classify and study reports of such phenomena. They also hold lectures on the first Thursday of each month, Sep-Jun.

Established in 1882, the society aims to advance the understanding of events and abilities commonly described as 'psychic' or 'paranormal', without prejudice and in a scientific manner. It does this by promoting and supporting important research, and by publishing scholarly reports of a high standard, inclduing the Journal of the Society for Psychical Research.

Society for Scientific Exploration (SSE)

The SSE aims to provide a professional forum for presentations, criticism, and debate concerning topics which are for various reasons ignored or studied inadequately within mainstream science. A secondary goal is to promote improved understanding of those factors that unnecessarily limit the scope of scientific inquiry. The society hosts conferences and produces the Journal of Scientific Exploration
